About The Motor Hive

The Motor Hive is an independent Jaguar Land Rover specialist, run by two dealer-trained technicians with 20 years of main dealer experience between them. We offer JLR owners in Keighley the knowledge and diagnostic capability you’d expect from a franchised dealer, with a more personal service and fairer prices.

Dealer training, independent service

Both of our technicians learned their trade inside Jaguar Land Rover dealerships, working on these vehicles every day. That background means we know how JLR models are put together, where faults tend to develop, and how to fix them properly the first time.

We set up The Motor Hive in 2023 to bring that experience into a workshop where you can talk directly to the person working on your car. You’ll get a plain explanation of what we’ve found and a clear price before any work goes ahead.

Newer Jaguar and Land Rover models

Modern Range Rovers, Defenders, Discoverys, and Jaguars depend heavily on electronics and software, and looking after them properly takes more than a generic code reader. Our dealer-level diagnostic equipment allows us to find faults, code, and program at the depth these vehicles need, so you won’t need to go back to the main dealer for electrical or software work.

If your car is still under manufacturer warranty, we’ll service it in line with Jaguar Land Rover’s schedule, using parts that meet the manufacturer’s specification, so your warranty is preserved.

Range Rovers are a frequent target for keyless theft, which is why we also fit Ghost immobilisers. These add a PIN-style code sequence using the car’s existing buttons, so the vehicle can’t be driven away even if the key signal is cloned.

Other makes, classics, and EVs

Our JLR background gives us a strong grounding for other vehicles as well. We look after most makes of cars and vans, including classics, hybrids, and electric vehicles, covering everything from routine servicing and mechanical repairs to diagnostics, AdBlue system faults, and car detailing.

Visiting our Keighley workshop

You’ll find us at Hope Mills, Hope Place, just off South Street (the A629). We’re less than a mile from the bus and train stations, and the town centre and several cafés are a short walk away if you’d rather not wait.
