Elliott Stone
Managing Director & Master JLR Technician
A former Jaguar Land Rover Master Technician with experience as Senior Technician at Redline Specialist Cars, Elliott brings a wealth of expertise to The Motor Hive. Proudly OCD about detail, he makes sure every car leaves “repaired to perfection, but like it’s never been touched.” Calm, trustworthy, and very much the family man, Elliott’s also the sort who lines up tools straighter than a spirit level. He admits no two days are ever the same — usually because Richard’s roped him into something ridiculous. Outside of work, Elliott can be found hiking, scuba diving, or on his motorbike, while still dreaming of a Porsche 911 GT3 Touring (which he swears is just “research”).
Richard (Rich) Henry
Managing Director
Rich has been MD of The Motor Hive since day one, proudly helping to build the reputation that’s earned the team five-star reviews across the board. Alongside Elliott, he’s often referred to as one half of “The Boys” — the duo who get the impossible jobs done. Calm in a storm and unfazed by challenges, Rich is the man you call when something can’t be fixed… until he proves it can. From welding parts to working into the early hours, he’s not shy of burning the midnight oil to make things happen. Outside the workshop, he admits cars are still his biggest hobby, but he’ll occasionally be spotted walking, biking, or exploring the UK. In his own words: “Unfazed, modest, determined… and a little bit of a menace.”
Katie Wood
Service Manager
Katie has been with The Motor Hive for just over a year and keeps the show on the road as Service Manager. She enjoys seeing customers’ reactions when the team gets them back on the road quickly — and admits the workshop banter is often top-notch (if sometimes a little inappropriate). Known for being bubbly, talkative and kind, Katie says there’s no such thing as a “silly” question and is always happy to help. She brings a mild amount of organisation to the madness of the motor trade and keeps the team on track. Away from work, Katie enjoys walking, cooking, and reading when time allows – and while her dream car changes regularly, it’s usually the last cool one that came through the workshop.
William (Will) Henry
Vehicle Technician
Will brings a dependable, honest and hard-working attitude to every job at The Motor Hive. Still early in his career, he’s eager to learn, willing to give anything a go, and takes pride in developing his skills. Customers might be surprised to learn that — despite the jokes — he’s definitely not 12! A fan of classic cars, Will dreams of owning a Pontiac GTO. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new places with his dog and lives by the motto: “Keep on keeping on.”
